My name is Jamala Moore.  I have taught at A.M. Windham Elementary School for twenty years.  Seventeen of those years I taught first grade.  The last three years I have served as a Title I teacher.  Teaching is my passion.  I can not imagine working in any other field.  It is a privilege to teach in the same school system I graduated from in 1993.  I consider Daleville, Alabama my heart!

When I am not teaching or doing school related work, I LOVE shopping, couponing, and spending time with my family.   I have been happily married to my soul mate, Brad Moore, for sixteen years.  Brad is a firefighter at Ft. Rucker.  The Lord has blessed our family with two precious children.  Our son, Brayton, is a thirteen-year-old eighth grader at Daleville High School.  He is a smart, caring, creative young man with a gentle soul.  Our daughter, Briley, is eight years old.  She is in the third grade at A.M. Windham.  Briley is a vivacious, loving, humorous young lady who loves to dance.

We live in Enterprise and are active members of the Daleville Baptist Church.  We thoroughly enjoy spending time together as a family.  We look forward to flying to Oregon each summer, beach trips, and family movie nights.  Also, we love watching college football together.  We are a house divided.  I yell, "ROLL TIDE!!!"... Brad yells, "GO DUCKS!!!"  Brayton and Briley are stuck in the middle.  While Brayton is leaning toward his daddy's team...I am still hopeful Briley will stick with me.  We would love to have this on-going family dispute settled this year.

Personal Mission Statement:  As a teacher at A.M. Windham Elementary School, I promise to educate, protect, and nurture my students to the best of my God-given abilities.  I will do whatever has to be done to ensure my students achieve success on their educational journeys in my classroom.  This is who I am even when no one is watching.
